Mitsch has written and produced music for numerous documentaries, movie trailers, and films, including the feature films “Spirit Berlin” (2014), “Fascinating India 3D” (2015), and the three-part television series “Whatever May Come” (2018/19). He has won several international composition awards in the USA and Great Britain in the field of instrumental music (Unisong Award 2003, Great American Song Contest 2004, among others). In 2009, his Peace Symphony was premiered with over 200 musicians and singers in commemoration of the Battle of Varus in 9 AD.
