Grünhorns Blues is a collection of musical settings of poems by Alfred Gong, composed by Mitsch Kohn for wind quintet and spoken voice. Inspired by the rich expressive tradition of Klezmer music, the work reflects the inner landscapes of Jewish-European memory, displacement, and resilience that live within Gong’s poetry. Performed by the Con Passione Quintet & Helmut Thiele, the music creates an intimate space where voice and instruments become vessels for remembrance and presence.
